PP was called in to substitute RGS who was unable to join the normal JASAP-JABRICK battle due to earlier committment. What a Substitute he turned out to be! He parred six of the nine holes at the Matang course taking three "fish". JB, AP and JS were left with tut-tut-tut.
PP still managed to take two more "fish" even after taking a short nap at the beginning of the second nine, Santubong Course. AP managed to take one fish while JB and JS were left gazing at the sky (looking for the moon in a hot and sunny day).
Frankly speaking, our friend was out of the coverage area most of the time but when it comes to the green, he surely would arrive safe and sound. So, the moral of the story here is not how you drive (distance) but how you arrive (at the green).
Now we understand why RGS dares not challenging our friend. True or not?

Central Sarawak Golf Tour
The journey for the much awaited tour started on the eve of CNY. Had a short break for supper at Sri Aman junction's "Rest Place" before proceeded to Sibu. This was when AP announced the good news. He "tiok" first prize sportstoto 4D, meaning that we need not worry about the hotel expenses.
Arrived Sibu town around midnight and was greeted by great display of fireworks. Checked in at the hotel, chit chatting then off to sleep.
The morning of 03/02/11 (first day of CNY) was not the kind of day that we hoped for. The sky was gloomy with scattered showers. Nonetheless, it got slightly better when we reached Sibu Golf Course. We tee-off around 10.00am and managed to complete all the 18 holes by 2.45pm. Nothing spectacular about the game and the rivalries between JABRICK/JASAP & RGS against the rest of the world. SGC belonged to us as there were no other flights that day. We proceed to Bintulu after our showers and lunch.
It was already dark when we arrived in Bintulu. Checked-in at Parkcity Everly Hotel, refreshed ourselves before dinner. We tried to go for foot massage before dinner but all the reflexology centres were closed for CNY. We then proceed to have our dinner (dinner was on brother AP) and after a short tour around Bintulu town, we found ourselves back at the hotel. Enjoyed a bit of drink and entertaiment at the Waves, chit chatting at the hotel lobby and off to rest.
The early morning of 04/02/11 was not promising either. It was dizzling when we left the hotel for breakfast and Bintulu Golf Club. However, the weather improved later in the day to enable us to enjoy our golf. Again, nothing much to say about the game and the rivalries except for Hole 9, Kemena Course where RGS and JB struggled from second shot all the way to the green. Phuh! the score on that hole can realyy make someone quit golf for good.
We had our simple lunch at the club house after refreshing ourselves. Anthony Rupea saw us and bought 10 small bottles of Heineken for us to enjoy. Left Bintulu for Sibu after RGS took some videos around Tg. Kidurong.
Arrived Sibu around 8.00pm, checked-in at the hotel and refreshed ourselves. RGS & JS decided to go for a bit of massage while JB & AP were too hungry and had to have dinner. Rest of the night spent by watching TV and chit chatting.
The weather on 05/02/11 was every golfer's wish. The sky was clear and it was very hot. Rivalries between JB, AP, JS and RGS went on. The game ended around 2.00pm. We went to Sibu town for lunch after refreshing ourselves. After one hour in Sibu town, we headed for home sweet home. Reached Kuching around 11.00pm.
This is the second time that we have arranged such tour but we did not go to Miri this time. Once again, it was a memorable and interesting trip.
AP, thanks for the free dinner and accommodation.
RGS, thanks for the drive .
JS, thanks.

Ballsweep cum fellowship golf at KGP
Eight keen and enthusiatic "Bidayuh Golfers" battled it out for the ballsweep cum fellowship golf at Kelab Golf Prison last Saturday morning (22/01/2011). The game was organised by none other than Mr. AN himself. Each Golfer needed to invest RM30.00 and ONLY the top two golfers were rewarded after eighteen gruelling and torturing holes. Lunch (SCR) and drinks except beer were paid using the ballsweep money. The balance was for the two winners.
The flight arrangement was as follow:
Flight 1: Johnny Peter (JPJ), Ricky Nyowib (RN), Peter Selik (PS) and Nelson Peter Kini (NPK)
Flight 2: Jabing Bujing (JB), Andrew Ngisun (AN), Ricky Guing Senen (RGS) and Eric Henry (EH).
At the end of the day, EH came up top while PS had to settle as the bridesmaid . Both golfers registered the same nett score (par golf 64) but EH won OCB.
Here was how the score looked like:-
Golfer's Name Gross Score Handicap Nett Score
EH 81 17 64
PS 87 23 64 Mak Datuk! handicap 23! OMG
NPK 89 24 65
JB 76 11 65
AN 86 16 70
RN 91 17 74 Man to beat at DGCC
JPJ 88 13 75
RGS 94 17 77
Congrats. to the two winners and hope more of this fellowship golf to come.
Now to the battle between JABRICK where the scoreline says it all. JB was no match to RGS that morning and JB went home RM20.00 richer.
Thanks RGS. Better luck next time. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! No Heart Feeling!
