Hanging Tough

The weather was just perfect for golf yesterday. My partner came late but that did not disturb my concentration. I battled the first two holes alone and survived. We were down most of the time until Hole 16 Santubong when we turned the thing around. The sweet victory was ours by hole 17 with the score 2 and 1. Yes! Another victory and what a feeling. Score now stands at 4-2.

What say you JS? Seems like your beetle nut juice has no effect on us. I told you already that JABRICK will come back with a vengeance and we have proved it.

Another battle tomorrow and we are looking forward to combat the battle and come out a winner yet again. He He he he he! Chaow.

Beaten but still 1-up

O yeah! JabRick was beaten last sunday. But JasAp! Better enjoy your victory to the fullest because it would not last long. JabRick will be back to haunt the two of you. Just wait!

Anyway, just to sum-up last sunday's duel. I would say that JabRick was beaten on the first nine. JS was red-hot and firing the first few holes while AP played a steady game throughout. Everything went right for them, starting with an unexpected (fluke) chip-in birdie by JS on hole 4 par 3.

JabRick, on the hand was down all the way. What an under-par display by JBBO!
Honestly, I was nowhere near my normal steady game. My game was a total let down especially my putting. Deserved to go to the moon. BUT this, will not continue.

RGS: Thousand apology for letting you down. JBBO will be back to get them, promise.

JasAP: Just beware of our deadliest counter attack yet.

Weapon for this weekend

Looking forward to Saturday and Sunday every time for round of golf game. Why not! when you have good and sporting friends playing with you. This weekend, however is slightly different. Three of us will be playing at PGC (monthly medal) while the other guys is making extra income.

Choice of weapon for this Saturday (PGC's Monthly Medal), which should do the work:  low tech but lethal U-21 S-yard iron set, Honma driver, ever-trusting and incredible two-ball white hot Odyssey putter and of course, my favourite cleveland 51deg. wedge.

Sunday! Yes, Sunday! Anybody for round of golf at PGC this Sunday?

Total Domination

Victory yet again for JBRGS's combination (JabRick) against the ailing JSAP's combination (JasAp). It came even sweeter with RGS single-handedly demolished our opponent. But sadly, we are not going to see this great battle again because our opponent had decided to pull out. Poor JasAp!

Anyway, the game today belonged to RGS. His game at the second nine santubong was simply awesome. Our opponent just watched in awe and could do nothing to stop the juggernaut. I was also stunt and could not belief either. The good thing was, I enjoyed the ride and the air-cond., of course. At one stage  I went to deep sleep as my partner need not require a co-driver. However, he decided to take a swim at the last hole (hole 18) and end-up carried a "cangkul" back home.

As for myself, I did have some good moments in my game especially my chipping/pitching and my putting. Thank God. The last hole saved me from going to the moon. Ha ha ha!

Rest Day

Supposed to have a round of golf at KGP today but the pitch was soggy following the rain fall since early morning till afternoon. So no golf today but AP & me still went to KGP to lepak-lepak. Didn't know what RGS was doing in the afternoon but I guessed JS must be busy counting trees. or did you?

AP reached KGP early and when I arrived there, he was already on the practice green, busy working on his putting in preparation for tomorrow's battle of the titans. I am not worried because with enough rest , I should be fresh and ready to go to the battle tomorrow. See how JBRGS's combination completely demolish and outplay APJS's combination.

So RGS, ready for the challenge tomorrow and make it two up? Yahoooooooooooooooooo!

Another great day

Another great outing for JBRGS combination today. Things looked promising for APJS's combination at the beginning but it was JBRGS's combination that came out top. Yes! yet another victory for JBRGS and oh! what a feeling.

APJS, better watch out because JBRGS's combination is getting stronger & stronger. JB's game is steady as proven while RGS is beginning to get his lost touch.

To RGS: Thanks for assisting to drive the bus. The journey is sometimes quite far and occassionally, I need to have some sleep and enjoy the air cond.  also. Ha ha ha ha! 


To APJS: JBRGS will not look back and wait for the two of you. So please do something or else the two of you will be too far behind and unable to catch us. Hi Hi hi hi hi ha ha ha ha !

Anyway, enjoy your companionship and friendship. Just love to play golf with you all.

What a day!

Oh! what a day.

Nothing seemed to go wrong with my game today. Even the shower half way through the game did not wash away my game. Just steady game all day even though not flawless.

The JBRGS's combination today was unstoppable right from the start. APJS's combination was completely outplayed and could do nothing to stop the onslaught. What happen to your "beetlenut" juice JS? Suggest you come up with more powerful and effective whatever juice. Your spell will not have any effect on us though because I have all the ingredients to neutralize the spell. 

I am so so happy with my game today. A day in golf that one would always remember and cherish for many years to come. Oooooooo hah!

Glamour Gang

The glamour gang getting ready for the battle last Sunday (7/2/2010). Wow!

The scores? Nothing spectacular.
JS claimed the first two fish but virtually went to sleep after that. RGS on the other hand, was on fire claiming the next few holes. AP? Nothing seemed to work for him the first nine holes. A one foot back spin shot from him, how about that?
And how JS made RGS, AP & JB fall asleep on the green (Matang Hole 7). It's all happening when the glamour gang takes it to the field. That's what I love about being part of the glamour gang.

yeah there's a bad moon on the rise!

On paper, JB is a force to reckon with. Well in reality, anything can happen.

The truth is, we have demonic DS who played like a possessed devil and RE who suddenly found new advantage with a 19 handicap.

But make no mistake, tomorrow JB is playing like a wounded tiger, hurt but dangerous. Watch it RGS!

Beautiful chip-in birdie

Name it whatsoever, my chipping at hole 7 Matang last sunday was a beauty. Left just short of the green, I approached the ball with ordinary feeling. After two practice swings, I lofted the ball with my ever reliable CLEVELAND 51deg AW. The ball hit the green, rolled a few feet towards the pin and slowly disappeared into the cup. A birdie, a beauty and oh! what a feeling.

"Birdie" hardly comes and to birdie a hole as such makes you feel good about your game. Somehow my driving was a bit off that day. My ever-trusting HONMA is having its off day.

CALL A WAY

Just can't wait to get hold of this callaway set. Hoping to be more consistent and deadly with this so called new technology. Looking forward to yet another bullish month in the year of the tiger.

What say you JS? Dare to challenge for 50 50 50 stake?

Oh! What a month

Called it whatsoever, the first month of 2010 turned out to be a very good month for me. It had never crossed my mind that it is going to be that 'bullish' and ??????. The reason being, very obvious. Yet to be beaten by this opponent of mind. ACTION NYE!

The stake used to be 50 50 25 but it suddenly shrinks to ONLY 25. Ayo yo, what happen?

It is not that my game is that good and consistent but it is my friend's game that is "off" at the moment.

Wake up my friend. Proof to JS and me that your new weapon is deadly.
